How we tile a room
- Prepare the surface: We remove old tiles and adhesive where needed and make sure walls and floors are flat, solid and dry. Wet areas are waterproofed first.
- Set out and fix: We plan the layout so the tiles sit centrally and the cuts are balanced, then fix them level with the right adhesive for the tile and surface.
- Grout and finish: Joints are grouted, edges are sealed with silicone and the tiles are cleaned off, ready to use once everything has set.
Regrouting and tile repairs
Cracked or missing grout lets water get behind tiles, which can loosen them and damage the wall or floor underneath. If your grout is stained, crumbling or mouldy, regrouting can freshen up tiles without replacing them. We can also swap out individual cracked tiles, as long as matching ones are available.
